January 11, 2015 UPDATE: WEATHER PERMITTING, Industry Drive will be closing (under the Aten Road Bridge area only) on Friday, January 29th after the rush (around 6 p.m.) for demolition of the Aten Road Bridge. That area of Industry Drive will remain closed over the weekend and then reopen before 6 a.m. on Monday, February 1st.
The Aten Road Bridge Replacement Project will be starting in January, 2016. Signs have been installed along the route and notification will be posted on our website and mailed to businesses in RIDC. The contractor, Pugliano Construction, anticipates the project will be completed in mid-June, 2016.
