Responsibilities
As a 2nd class township, Findlay has three elected supervisors who are responsible for the general supervision of the of the township, roads maintained by the township, contracts, personnel, representing the township at meetings and making an annual report. The Board of Supervisors appoints the Planning Commission, the Zoning Hearing Board, the Fair Board, the Municipal Authority Board Members and the Transportation Committee. Also appointed by the Board are Secretary-Treasurer, Police Chief, Building Inspector, Zoning Officer, Planning Administrator, Parks Director, and other township administrative personnel.

Other responsibilities include street lighting, fire protection, road signage, rubbish removal, traffic lights and signals, parks, parking regulations, water and sewage supply emergency services, ordinance for construction and development and public safety.
