Got Drugs?

Overview

Back in 2013, the DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) began a new initiative to securely collect unused/old prescription and OTC medications in addition to their special DEA Drug Take Back collection days held in the Spring and Fall. At that time, there was only one or two locations that were convenient for Findlay Township residents to dispose of medications outside the special collection days.

In January 2020, the Findlay Township Police Department announced we have become the location of a secure Medical Return box. Located in the lobby of the Municipal Building at 1271 Route 30, Clinton, this box accepts unused/old prescription and Over-The-Counter medications at any time to include common dosage forms such as tablets, capsules, ointments and patches. ITEMS NOT ACCEPTED ARE:  ILLEGAL DRUGS, NEEDLES, LOTIONS OR LIQUIDS, INHALERS, AEROSOL CANS, THERMOMETERS OR HYDROGEN PEROXIDE.

Take Back Event

The Findlay Township Police Department will continue to participate in DEA Prescription / OTC Drug Take Back events. The next collection event will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2023 from 10AM - 2PM at the Municipal Building. For more information on the Medical Return box or Drug Take Back events, contact Sgt. Jamie Sacco at 724-695-1300.
