Board of Supervisors Meetings

As a Second Class Township, Findlay has three elected Supervisors who are responsible for the general supervision of the of the Township, roads maintained by the Township, contracts, personnel, representing the Township at meetings and making an annual report. The Board of Supervisors appoints the Planning Commission, the Zoning Hearing Board, the Fair Board, the Municipal Authority Board Members and the Transportation Committee. Also appointed by the Board are Secretary-Treasurer, Police, Occupational Privilege/Earned Income Tax Collector, Building Inspector, Zoning Officer, Planning Administrator, Parks Director, and other Township administrative personnel.

Other responsibilities include street lighting, fire protection, road signage, rubbish removal, traffic lights and signals, parks, parking regulations, water and sewage supply emergency services, ordinance for construction and development and public safety.

Meeting Time & Place:
Caucus Meeting - 1st Thursday each month, 7:00 p.m.
Regular Meeting - 2nd Wednesday each month, 7:00 p.m.
Workshop Meeting - 4th Thursday each month, 7:00 p.m.

All meetings are held at the Municipal Building,
1271 Route 30, Clinton

The Board of Supervisors will hold their Workshop meeting on Thursday, May 23, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. On the agenda is Recreation and Sports Complex Pavilion purchase authorization; TIF Resolution for Westport Woods; Seitel Highway Occupancy Permit application; Consol Energy Airport Proposal - informal discussion; Resolution 2013-21 - Appointment of Hearing Officer for Taxpayer Bill of Rights (Act 511 Taxes) - Russ Lucas; Resolution 2013-22 - Plan Revision for New Land Development for Clinton Commerce Park, Phase II; and Open Burn Permit Application - KTA Tator.

The Board of Supervisors will hold their Caucus meeting on Thursday, June 6, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. No agenda is available at this time.
