Andrew Vollmer, along with Boy Scout Troop #830, is beginning to work on an Eagle Scout Project called #TEEM. Inspired by the movie "Alive Inside," Andrew and the scouts will be working to bring together teens and elders in the community to raise awareness on the powerful, positive impact which music can have on elders who may have symptoms of dementia or Alzheimer's Disease. #TEEM (Teens, Elders, Empathy, Music) is collecting donations to the Western Allegheny Community Library "elder-friendly" of personal headphones, and then they will be coordinating information sessions where teens and elders work to make personal music more accessible and available. To see an example of how powerful music can be, search "Alive Inside Empathy Revolution" on YouTube. Please consider supporting Andrew and Scout Troop #830 in the following ways:1.
